Festival dei Popoli 2025 — The inaugural edition
The 1st edition of the Festival dei Popoli debuted in Centuripe, in the province of Enna, on July 12 and 13, 2025, in the setting of the Teatro della Dogana. The festival, conceived and directed by Carmelo Cacciola, proposed an encounter between distant cultures through the universal language of music.
On July 12, the stage hosted the Pejman Tadayon Ensemble from Iran, featuring singers, traditional instruments, and Sufi dances. On July 13, it was the turn of a Tablao Flamenco from Spain and the Sicilian ensemble Unavantaluna, with the sounds of the island's tradition. The event, with free admission, laid the foundations for an appointment destined to grow in the following years.
