Edition 2025 — Feste Patronali e Palio degli Asini di Mura

In 2025, Mura also celebrated the Patronal Festivals of Santa Maria Assunta for Ferragosto: four days of procession, food stalls, tournaments, and musical tributes, culminating on August 15th in the medieval parade and the Donkey Palio between the contrade, with a final fireworks display.

The 2025 edition of Mura's Patronal Festivals renewed the Ferragosto tradition in Valle Sabbia. The days alternated the procession with the statue of the Madonna and religious celebrations with festive moments featuring food stalls, tombola, cocktail bars, a water volleyball tournament, and evenings of musical tributes. Ferragosto featured the medieval parade with kings, queens, pages, and flag-wavers, and the Donkey Palio between the village's contrade, concluding with dinner, fireworks, and a lottery. A festival that confirmed the community's strong bond with its patron saint, Santa Maria Assunta.
