The Senigola Festival

The Festarolo is the summer festival organized by the Pro Loco of Pescarolo ed Uniti, in the province of Cremona. It takes place in June at the Oratorio campestre della Senigola, a place immersed in the countryside that has gathered the community for generations for its most cherished events. The festival combines the gastronomic tradition of the Bassa cremonese with the joy of dancing evenings.

Food, Drinks, and Dancing

The formula is well-tested: the kitchen opens at 7 PM for dinners with background music, and from 10 PM the evening comes alive with live concerts and dancing. Local bands take turns on stage. The outdoor space of Senigola allows you to experience the festival under the stars, with tables, stalls, and good music.

The Open-Air Painting Event

Alongside the Festarolo, according to Senigola tradition, there is an open-air painting event: a competition that brings artists and enthusiasts to paint live scenes of the location, blending the convivial atmosphere with a cultural dimension. It's one of the distinctive features that makes this festival more than just a simple sagra (village festival).

A Vibrant Pro Loco

The Festarolo is one of the main events in the rich calendar of the Pro Loco of Pescarolo ed Uniti, which throughout the year also organizes the Sgabei d'autunno (Autumn Sgabei), the Singing Competition, and evenings of typical cuisine at Senigola. An example of associative vitality in the small towns of the Cremona plain.
