Edition 2025 — Festa te la Uliata

From August 1st to 3rd, 2025, Caprarica di Lecce hosted the nineteenth edition of the Festa te la Uliata in the municipal park. Three evenings featuring food stalls, an artisan market, a children's area, 'PodCap Zone' talks, and plenty of folk music, with proceeds donated to ActionAid Italia.

Festa te la Uliata 2025 — 19th Edition

The nineteenth edition of the Festa te la Uliata took place in Caprarica di Lecce from August 1st to 3rd, 2025, in the municipal park. The star of the show was the uliata with Salento black olives, accompanied by bruschetta, grilled meats, pittule, pezzetti al sugo, fried foods, and traditional desserts.

The musical program featured the pizzica of the Tamburellisti di Torrepaduli on Friday, August 1st; the opening with the pizzica of Alla Bua followed by a concert by 88Max (an 883/Max Pezzali cover band) on Saturday, August 2nd; and the grand finale on Sunday, August 3rd with Nessuna Pretesa performing a medley of timeless hits. The evenings were completed by an artisan and zero-mile market, a children's area, the 'PodCap Zone' with talks and DJ sets, and the traditional olive pit spitting contest. The entire event was organized to support ActionAid Italia's campaigns.
