Edition 2025 — Festa di Santa Maria Assunta
In 2025, Pignone also celebrated its patron saint, Saint Mary of the Assumption, on Ferragosto day, with religious services, a procession through the village streets, and popular festivities that bring together the Val di Vara community each year.
In 2025, the Feast of Saint Mary of the Assumption renewed the August 15th anniversary in Pignone. Religious services in the parish church, a procession in honor of the Madonna Assunta, and festive moments marked Ferragosto day, the most cherished festival of the year for the village in the hinterland of La Spezia.
