Festa Patronale di Sant'Agostino a Ponte Nizza

The Sant'Agostino Festival is the event that has always closed the summer in Ponte Nizza, in the mountainous Oltrepò Pavese. Organized by the Pro Loco, the patron saint festival combines celebrations in honour of the saint with moments of gathering and gastronomy, renewing the sense of community in this village in the Staffora valley. In a territory marked by the presence of the Abbey of Sant'Alberto di Butrio, the festival preserves the authentic value of the patron saint traditions of the Pavese Apennines, far from the most crowded tourist destinations.
