Edition 2025 — San Rocco a Grottole
On August 16, 2025, Grottole celebrated San Rocco with the morning procession from the church to the castle, the parade of decorated horses, participants in traditional and medieval attire, and evening fireworks, renewing a devotion that has lasted for over 350 years.
The 2025 edition of the festival took place on August 16th, San Rocco's day, renewing a tradition alive for over three and a half centuries. Between the solemn Mass, the procession from the church to the castle and through the old village, the parade of decorated horses, the traditional and medieval costumes, and the evening fireworks, Grottole celebrated its patron saint with the usual participation of residents and emigrants.
