Edition 2025 — San Rocco ad Albano
In August 2025, Albano di Lucania celebrated its patron saint San Rocco with three days of festivities: the procession on August 18th with the Saint's statue accompanied by the band, piazza parties with folk music and tarantellas, and the traditional evening fireworks. The celebration brought residents and emigrants back to the town for the most anticipated summer event.
The 2025 edition of the Festa di San Rocco in Albano di Lucania took place on August 17th, 18th, and 19th. On August 18th, at 10:30 AM, the Saint's statue was carried in procession through the village streets accompanied by the band; in the evening, concerts in the piazza and evenings of folk music with tarantellas animated the village, followed by fireworks. A celebration that drew residents and emigrants back to the town for the most anticipated summer event.
