Festa Patronale di Saint-Gilles (Sant'Egidio) in Verrès

In 2025, the Saint-Gilles celebrations confirmed the four-day format that combines devotion, sport, and conviviality. The solemn mass in the Collegiata di Saint-Gilles, the vertical footrace towards Mont Saint Gilles, shows, medieval-themed events, and evening visits to the Castle of Verrès involved the entire community of the Aosta Valley village, in a late-summer celebration at the foot of the Challant castle.

The 2025 program included a solemn mass in the Collegiata, the "Défi Du Drapeau" vertical race, tournaments, magic shows, medieval events with historical groups, evening castle visits, dinners in the historic center, and a final market.
