In 2025, Francavilla in Sinni celebrated its patron saints Felice and Policarpo on August 9th and 10th, with religious ceremonies, a procession of statues, and the evocative tradition of the cìgljë, in a day lived with great faith by the community.
The 2025 edition
In 2025, the patronal festival of Saints Felice and Policarpo again took place on August 9th and 10th, culminating on the 10th. The community of Francavilla in Sinni renewed the procession and the tradition of the cìgljë, the decorative structures made of wheat ears and candles danced around the statues of the saints, in a ritual that combines devotion and peasant identity.
