Festa Occitana

The 2025 edition confirmed the tradition of the Festa Occitana in Olivetta San Michele, in the far west of Liguria. The evening celebrated Occitan culture with live music, traditional instruments — accordion, bagpipes, wind instruments, violin — and folk dances of the balfolk.

Accompanying the festival was Occitan cuisine with its specialities, in an evening that combined conviviality and rediscovery of the cultural roots of these borderlands, in preparation for the twentieth edition in 2026.

The festival took place in the evening with traditional Occitan music and dances (accordion, bagpipes, wind instruments, violin) and dinner with specialities of Occitan cuisine.
