The 2025 Festa Grande in Misterbianco

Following the 2022 edition, in 2025 Misterbianco celebrated its Festa Grande of Sant'Antonio Abate, organized over a long calendar from July 12 to August 4. The weeks of preparation featured orchestra entrances, hymn rehearsals, and initial fireworks displays, with moments like the "Varetta più bella" competition and the Grand Concert of the 'Cantate' performed by the "Città di Misterbianco" band.

The heart of the festival was concentrated around the first Sunday of August: the exit of the four votive candles (Carrettieri-Camionisti, Vigneri, Pastori, and Maestri) from their respective churches, processions through the historic center, the Festa del Fuoco with fireworks at the Quattro Canti, and the solemn procession of the statue of the Patron Saint through the town squares. A great celebration of community, faith, and Sicilian tradition, serving as a living expression of the intangible heritage of the province of Catania.
