Festa di Santa Maria Maddalena - Prato San Pietro

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Mary Magdalene filled the hamlet of Prato San Pietro in Cortenova, Valsassina, with a calendar that ranged from sport to religion, from conviviality to music.

The festival opened on Friday afternoon, July 18th, with the Valsassina Bike Cup, a mountain bike race on a circuit of about 8 kilometers, followed around 7:30 PM by a running race open to all, with different distances for adults and children. The festivities concluded with mass at the small chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene in Taecc, reachable by jeep shuttle service, in an atmosphere of celebration and community sharing.
