Festa di Sant'Onofrio

The 2025 edition of the feast of Sant'Onofrio renewed one of Chiauci's most beloved rites. On June 11th, the community accompanied the statue of the saint in procession from the church of San Giovanni to the hermitage in the woods, along a path of about three kilometers. The festival combines the spiritual dimension with the beauty of the Alto Molise landscape, in a territory protected by the MAB UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. As tradition dictates, the statue was then brought back to the village on August 16th with a second procession.
