Edition 2025 — Sant'Emidio e le Traglie

On August 5th, 2025, Roccavivara celebrated Sant'Emidio with the traditional parade of the Traglie, the carts and hand-woven wheat braids that adorned the historic centre with gold, amidst the blessing of the carts, procession, and tastings.

The 2025 edition of the Festa di Sant'Emidio confirmed the strength of a tradition that in Roccavivara intertwines faith and peasant art. The traglie and wheat braids made by hand transformed the historic centre into a golden pathway, while the blessing of the carts and the procession of the patron saint against earthquakes marked the day.

The festival, accompanied by traditional music and the tasting of local products, attracted visitors from all over the Trigno Valley as every year, reaffirming the deep bond between the village and its patron saint.
