Edition 2025 — Sant'Egidio e Festa della Montagna
The 2025 edition of the Feast of Sant'Egidio Abate confirmed the strength of an identity ritual in Bojano. On August 31st, the evening procession traversed the city's neighborhoods accompanied by the band, with convivial stops and impromptu banquets. At dawn on September 1st, families and groups of friends climbed to the hermitage of Sant'Egidio, on Monte Matese, for masses and the procession; then the Festa della Montagna exploded, with braziers, games of morra, tents among the clearings, and nights of conversation under the stars.
