Edition 2025 — Festa di San Maurizio
In 2025, Porto Maurizio also celebrated the patronal festival of San Maurizio in September, with religious services in the Basilica and a procession through the alleys of the Parasio. An event of devotion and tradition that each year brings together the community of the historic district of Imperia around its patron saint.
The 2025 edition of the Festa di San Maurizio renewed the celebration of the patron saint of Porto Maurizio, in Imperia. Religious services in the Basilica of San Maurizio and a procession in the historic centre of Parasio marked the festival.
As every year, the celebrations combined the religious dimension with identity, enhancing the bond between the historic district and its patron saint, in the heart of western Liguria.
