Festa di San Lorenzo — Alone di Casto

In 2025, the hamlet of Alone, in Casto, renewed its summer appointment with the Festa di San Lorenzo. As tradition dictates, the community gathered around the saint's little church for religious celebrations, with mass and procession through the village streets.

Under the marquee, the flavors of Valle Sabbia cuisine were not lacking, from polenta carbonera to casoncelli, while the evenings alternated live music and moments of conviviality. The Alone Bike mountain bike race brought enthusiasts to the trails surrounding the hamlet, in a blend of tradition and sport that has accompanied the festival for years.
