Edition 2025 — Saint Gerard Potenza
In 2025 too, the Festival of Saint Gerard closed the Maggio Potentino with five days of celebrations: folk concerts in Piazza Mario Pagano, the Historical Parade of the Turks with its long procession of participants, the lighting of the Iàccara, and the procession of the patron saint, in an atmosphere of great popular participation.
The 2025 edition of the Festival of Saint Gerard confirmed the city's strong bond with its patron saint and with the Historical Parade of the Turks, a moment of synthesis between legend, history, and devotion. Amidst folk music, gastronomy, and fire rituals, Potenza experienced the traditional closing of the Maggio Potentino with thousands of people in the historic center.
