Edition 2025 — N.S. della Visitazione
In 2025, Varese Ligure also celebrated its patron saint Nostra Signora della Visitazione on the first Sunday of July, with the solemn procession of the Cristi of the confraternities and the ark of the Virgin through the historic centre of Borgo Rotondo.
The 2025 edition of the Festa di Nostra Signora della Visitazione renewed the patronal tradition of the upper Val di Vara in Varese Ligure. The community gathered around the solemn procession which, winding through the historic centre of Borgo Rotondo, saw the Cristi of the confraternities and the ark of the Virgin carried on shoulders. A celebration of strong identity value, which every year brings the town together in the sign of faith and Ligurian traditions.
