Festa di Maria SS. di Costantinopoli — Madonna della Ricotta

The 2025 edition of the festival of Maria SS. di Costantinopoli (Madonna della Ricotta) took place in Pietracatella from Saturday, June 7th to Tuesday, June 10th. On June 7th, the Sagra della Ricotta in Piazza Santa Maria opened the celebrations with the free distribution of ricotta and cheese, and in the evening, a concert by the Vasco Rossi tribute band "Il Mondo che vorrei". On June 8th, there were games and inflatables for children and the "castellana" rite, with the solemn elevation of the statue onto the wooden throne. On June 10th, the procession to the Crocelle district, with the "San Severo" band and carts pulled by sheep carrying children, followed by the solemn mass, the moment of remembrance for victims of labour, and a chamber music concert by the Sannio Sax Quartet.
