Edition 2025 — Madonna del Carmine
On July 16, 2025, the Festa di Madonna del Carmine renewed in Montorio nei Frentani the tradition of the three processions, with the statue of the Madonna carried by women and preceded by the Manuocchi, the decorated sheaves of wheat.
In 2025, the Festa di Madonna del Carmine confirmed its deeply traditional character in Montorio nei Frentani (CB). Throughout the day of July 16th, the three processions took place, with the statue of the Madonna carried by the women of the village and preceded by the Manuocchi, the decorated sheaves of wheat that recall the link between faith and peasant culture of Basso Molise.
