Festa di li Schietti 2025

The 2025 edition of the Festa di li Schietti confirmed itself as one of the most followed events on the Easter calendar of Terrasini, in the Province of Palermo. On that occasion too, the program revolved around the traditional bitter orange tree: the evocative cutting in the citrus groves, the decoration of the plant, and the long-awaited raising in Piazza Duomo, with the young schietti engaged in the test of strength and balance.

Alongside the central ritual, there were folkloric parades with Sicilian carts, brass bands, and groups in costume, exhibitions dedicated to the history of the festival, and convivial moments. A festival that continues to pass on a local identity heritage of 19th-century origin, capable of attracting both residents and visitors to Terrasini.
