Edition 2025 — Festa della Zucca
In 2025, the Festa della Zucca confirmed its format combining medieval reenactment and autumn flavours in the village of San Martino di Terzo d'Aquileia, with archery, dances, fire shows, and a cuisine entirely dedicated to pumpkin.
The 2025 edition brought back to the village of San Martino the usual journey into the Middle Ages: a historical market, archery competitions, medieval and candle dances, a spice exhibition, and the election of the abbess animated the days, while the evening gave way to fire shows. In the kitchen, the pumpkin was the star, with gnocchi, frico, and the great Friulian autumn classics like goose and cod with polenta.
