Festa della Montagna

The 2025 edition of the Festa della Montagna, the 21st, enlivened the Prati del San Vicino on July 5 and 6. Starting from Saturday afternoon, numerous campers arrived from various Italian regions, and in the evening, guests dined on polenta in the presence of the mayor of Matelica, Denis Cingolani.

Sunday opened with a concert by the P. Veschi band of Matelica, conducted by Maestro Gabriele Bartoloni, followed by the awarding of the Nello Mosciatti and Alfredo Panichelli prizes (now in their 23rd edition), a mass celebrated by Don Bruno, and a procession in honour of the Madonna del Grappa. The festival concluded with the alpini's meal for over a hundred participants, attended by the regional president of the Alpini, Sergio Mercuri, and administrators from neighbouring municipalities.
