Edition 2025 — Madonna di Monserrato
On the weekend of August 30-31, 2025, Grumento Nova celebrated the Madonna di Monserrato with the ascent to the sanctuary of Monte Castello, the offering of the 'centa', the return procession with the halberdiers, and the usual civil festivities.
The 2025 edition of the festival took place on the weekend of August 30-31, renewing the most heartfelt devotion of Grumento Nova. Between the ascent to the sanctuary of Monte Castello with the offering of the 'centa', the solemn procession returning to the village escorted by the halberdiers, the lights, concerts, and fireworks, the community of Grumento celebrated its patron saint with the usual participation of believers and emigrants.
