Festa della Madonna delle Traglie

The 2025 edition of the Festa della Madonna delle Traglie was held on Sunday, July 27th in Gambatesa (CB). The statue of the Madonna SS. della Vittoria was brought from the fields to the village on traglie loaded with wheat sheaves, from the Madonna's Chapel to the Church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo, via the San Martino district and the symbolic handover of the keys. The day alternated between the blessing of the wheat, the Solemn Mass, and the afternoon threshing in the square; in the evening, the parade of the folk group "Le Gemme del Matese" and the food and wine stalls closed the festival, in that "perfect mix of faith and culture" that distinguishes it.
