Edition 2025 — Volo dell'Angelo
In 2025 too, the Festa della Madonna delle Grazie brought the evocative Volo dell'Angelo to Vastogirardi, with the child-angel performing the three flights on a rope towards the statue of the Madonna, in the central square of the village in Alto Molise, province of Isernia.
In 2025, the Festa della Madonna delle Grazie renewed the tradition of the Volo dell'Angelo in Vastogirardi, passed down since 1911. The child dressed as an angel performed his flights towards the statue of the Madonna in the central square, in a moment of intense collective emotion.
The festival, also linked to the devotion to San Nicola di Bari, confirmed its role as the heart of the village's identity in Alto Molise, in the province of Isernia.
Programme
The 2025 edition re-proposed the Volo dell'Angelo with the child in white wings on the evening of July 1st and blue wings on the morning of July 2nd, in the central square of Vastogirardi.
