Edition 2025 — Festa del Tortiglione
The 2025 edition of the Festa della Madonna della Neve and Sagra del Tortiglione took place in early August in Penna in Teverina, confirming the formula that combines devotion and gastronomic tradition. The tortiglione, a typical serpent-shaped dessert, was at the centre of the competition among the village women, each with her own secret recipe.
The patronal feast, linked to the observance of Our Lady of the Snows on August 5th, enlivened the historic centre with food stalls, religious moments, and musical evenings.
