Edition 2025 — Madonna della Guardia

On August 29, 2025, the Sanctuary of the Guard celebrated the festival of the patron saint of Liguria with the usual novena, the evening pilgrimage on August 28th, and the solemnity on the 29th, featuring Masses, processions, and thousands of faithful who ascended Monte Figogna thanks to special shuttle buses.

The 2025 edition of the Festa della Madonna della Guardia renewed the ancient devotion that binds the people of Liguria to the sanctuary of Monte Figogna, above Ceranesi. The celebrations, marked by the novena, the Archbishop's pilgrimage, and the solemn Mass with procession on August 29th, drew pilgrims from all over the Metropolitan City of Genoa, with enhanced dedicated public transport.
