In 2025, Palata celebrated the Festa della Madonna del Carmine around July 16th, with the procession of wheat sheaves and the distribution of the land's products, organized by the Parish of Santa Maria La Nova, in the spirit of the peasant tradition of this Lower Molise village.

The 2025 edition of the Festa della Madonna del Carmine took place in Palata around July 16th, organized by the Parish of Santa Maria La Nova. The community participated in the liturgical celebrations and the traditional procession that brings sheaves of wheat, a symbol of the harvest, as a gift to the Virgin, accompanied by the distribution of products offered by the faithful. An event that renews each summer the link between Marian devotion and the agricultural culture of the area.
