Edition 2025 — Madonna Addolorata

In 2025, the community of Norcia also celebrated the Madonna Addolorata on the last Sunday of September, in the spirit of an ancient tradition dating back to 1735. The solemn mass and procession through the historic centre, accompanied by illuminations, music, and fireworks, renewed one of the city's most heartfelt devotions, deeply linked to the memory of the earthquakes and rebirth.

In 2025, Norcia renewed its devotion to the Madonna Addolorata on the last Sunday of September. The festival, rooted in a tradition dating back to 1735, featured a solemn mass and a procession of the sacred image through the historic centre.
