Edition 2025 — Festa della Lavanda

In the summer of 2025, the Festa della Lavanda at Il Lavandeto di Assisi attracted visitors among the blooming rows of Castelnuovo di Assisi, with walks, guided tours, distillation demonstrations, lavender ice cream, and evening picnics with live music, against the backdrop of the Basilica of Saint Francis.

The 2025 edition of the Festa della Lavanda took place on the blooming weekends between June and July, in the three-hectare garden of Il Lavandeto di Assisi in Castelnuovo di Assisi.

Visitors could walk among the fragrant rows, participate in guided tours, witness the distillation of lavender, and enjoy lavender ice cream at the refreshment points. On Friday and Saturday evenings, picnics among the rows, accompanied by live music, offered a suggestive sunset experience, with the panorama of the Umbrian hills and the Basilica of Saint Francis as a backdrop.
