Festa della Cipolla di Cannara

The 43rd edition of the Festa della Cipolla di Cannara took place in September 2025, spread over two weeks (from September 2nd to 7th and from September 9th to 14th). In the historic centre, the six food stands animated the festival with their onion-based menus, from appetisers to desserts.

Alongside the food, the programme offered musical events, dance shows, sporting events, comedy shows, cultural appointments, and workshops for children. The sagra reaffirmed Cannara's role, in the province of Perugia, as the Umbrian capital of the onion, blending agricultural tradition with a grand popular festival.

The 2025 edition (43rd) took place from September 2nd to 7th and from September 9th to 14th, with the six food stands (Al Cortile Antico, El Cipollaro, Il Giardino Fiorito, Il Rifugio del cacciatore, La locanda del curato, La Taverna del Castello) open every evening from 7:30 PM and on Sundays for lunch. Numerous side events were held: music, dance, sporting events, comedy shows, and workshops for children.
