Festa della Castagna di Montegrosso

The 2025 edition confirmed the tradition of the Festa della Castagna (Chestnut Festival) in Montegrosso Pian Latte, held on the second weekend of October. The Pro Loco offered the great chestnut festival with roasted chestnuts, fried bread, apple fritters, and chestnut ice cream, accompanied by the artisan market.

As tradition dictates, the festival combined gastronomy and fun, with exhibitions, children's theatre, e-bike trials, and live music, reaffirming its status as one of the most beloved and long-standing chestnut festivals in Northern Italy, active uninterruptedly since 1970.

The festival took place on the second weekend of October with the "Balla coi Rulli" evening, the great Sunday chestnut feast (roasted chestnuts, fried bread, apple fritters, chestnut ice cream), the artisan market, exhibitions, and live music.
