Wine at the heart of the festival

Capriano del Colle, a municipality in the province of Brescia, owes its identity to wine: here, at the foot of Montenetto—the only hill breaking up the Brescia plain—DOC Capriano del Colle wines are produced, the fruit of an ancient winemaking tradition. The Festa dell'Uva e del Vino is the celebration of this tradition, the autumn event where the entire town pays homage to the harvest.

Four days of tradition

The festival, which generally takes place in October, enlivens the historic center and the village spaces for four days. The program alternates cultural and folkloric moments with gastronomic and musical offerings:

• Tastings of Capriano del Colle DOC wines and those of the Montenetto Consortium
• Parades of allegorical floats and period costume processions
• Concerts, DJ sets, and dancer performances
• Food stands with local specialties
• Parade of vintage tractors and traditional games
• Entertainment and games for children

A long-standing festival

With over forty years of history—the 46th edition took place in 2025—the Festa dell'Uva e del Vino is one of the most deeply rooted festivals in the province of Brescia. Organized by the Pro Loco Capriano del Colle, it manages to combine the promotion of local wine with the popular enjoyment of parades and musical evenings, attracting visitors from all over the Brescia region.
