Edition 2025 — Festa dell'Opera

The 2025 edition of Festa dell'Opera transformed Brescia into an open-air opera theatre, with dozens of free events spread throughout the city from dawn till midnight. Arias and opera excerpts resonated in squares, churches, palaces, and metro stations, in a dialogue between opera and other musical genres.

The 2025 Festa dell'Opera, curated by the Fondazione Teatro Grande, confirmed the success of the widespread format that made the event famous. For a whole day, Brescia became a grand stage, with free concerts and performances in unexpected locations in the historic centre and beyond.

Famous arias, opera scenes, and cross-pollinations with jazz, pop, and electronic music brought the great operatic repertoire closer to a large and diverse audience, paving the way for the 2026 edition dedicated to the theme of "Conflicts".
