The Festa dell'Acqua is the historical re-enactment with which Recoaro Terme, a spa town in the Piccole Dolomiti (Little Dolomites) in the province of Vicenza, celebrates its deep connection with water and thermalism. The event brings back to life the atmosphere of the late 19th century, when Recoaro was a renowned spa resort frequented by the European bourgeoisie seeking the beneficial properties of its waters.
A Belle Époque Set
For the festival, the squares and streets of the town center are transformed with careful staging and dedicated animation: costumed figures, sumptuous horse-drawn carriages, and historic cars connect the center to the Central Springs, recreating the splendor of the Belle Époque. Thus, the 19th-century ritual of the spa stay is relived, with elegant strolls and social gatherings.
Operettas, Markets, and Tastings
The program combines theatrical and musical performances, and operettas, concerts scattered throughout the town, an artisan market, and the opportunity to taste Recoaro's thermal waters, the true protagonists of local tradition. An event that combines historical memory, culture, and identity, enhancing the thermal heritage of a municipality that has made water its distinctive feature.

The 2026 edition of the Festa dell'Acqua will once again feature the re-enactment of the Belle Époque of thermalism in Recoaro Terme, with costumed figures, sumptuous carriages, and historic cars connecting the town center to the Central Springs. The program includes operettas, musical performances, scattered concerts, an artisan market, and the tasting of the famous Recoaro thermal waters.
