Festa del Maiale Paesano

Third edition: August 16-18, 2025

In 2025, the Festa del Maiale Paesano reached its third edition, confirming the formula of three mid-August evenings in the open-air spaces of Il Marrone, in the Spinosa district of Roccadaspide, in the heart of the province of Salerno.

The menu covered the entire traditional pork processing cycle: appetizers of cured meats and cheeses, zitoni with pork ragù as a first course, followed by porchetta, sausage, burgers, or roast, with the sfrionzola as the house specialty, side dishes of fries or salad, and finishing with fruit and dessert.

On the entertainment side, the festival alternated between different styles: live music with the Diapason Band, a nighttime foam party with a DJ set, and, on the final evening, a performance by the Joseph's Dance School followed by ballroom dancing and music by I Discepoli. The funfair remained active every evening, attracting many families vacationing in the Cilento hinterland.
