Edition 2025 — Festa del Fuoco di Giazza

The Festa del Fuoco di Giazza 'Vaur Ljetzan' 2025 renewed the ancient Cimbrian summer solstice rite in Giazza, a hamlet of Selva di Progno. An evening of re-enactments, theatre, and fire shows concluded with the lighting of the thirteen braziers in the heart of the Veronese Lessinia.

The 2025 edition of the Festa del Fuoco di Giazza confirmed the summer appointment with the Cimbrian solstice rite in the hamlet of Giazza, Selva di Progno. The evening featured, as is tradition, historical re-enactments, music, and theatrical performances inspired by Lessinia's myths, culminating in the lighting of the thirteen braziers.

Organized by Pro Loco Ljetzan-Giazza with the Curatorium Cimbricum Veronense, the festival drew visitors and Cimbrian culture enthusiasts to Giazza, served by the usual free shuttle bus from Selva di Progno.
