Festa del Duca

The 43rd edition of the Festa del Duca animated Urbino from August 11th to 14th, 2025, with over 150 shows. Performances began at 4:30 PM, with events every half hour between Piazza Duca Federico, Piazza Rinascimento, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza San Francesco, the Courtyard of Palazzo Ducale, and Borgo Mercatale, accompanied by the Festa del Duca dei Bambini with ponies, archery, and shadow theater.

The Grand Historical Parade, on Tuesday, August 12th, at 9 PM, featured over 400 participants reenacting the Conspiracy of 1444, which led to the assassination of Oddantonio, half-brother of the future Duke Federico. The Giuoco dell'Aita, the grand finale on August 14th at 8:30 PM in the Arena Borgo Mercatale, concluded with Renaissance Fireworks starting at 11:00 PM. Among the edition's guests were director Pupi Avati, singer Amara, and tennis legend Corrado Barazzutti.
