Festa del Covo di Campocavallo

The Festa del Covo 2025 in Campocavallo di Osimo (AN) culminated on Sunday, August 10, with the traditional procession through the streets of the hamlet. The Covo of the year, the work of the "masters-artists" of wheat ears, reproduced the Sanctuary of Lourdes.

The day saw a large turnout of people, with wagons, children in the foreground, folk costumes, and numerous faithful. The procession and Eucharistic adoration were led by Archbishop Angelo Spina, who praised the people of Campocavallo and the Association for keeping alive traditions rooted in faith, also announcing that he had written to the Vatican for the Covo to be welcomed in St. Peter's Square.
