Edition 2025 — Festa dei Volpai

The 2025 edition of the Festa dei Volpai was held in Pozzolatico (Impruneta, FI) on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Circolo Ricreativo Culturale on Via Imprunetana, featuring the traditional menu of Tuscan game and an entertainment program linked to the hunting traditions of the Florentine Chianti.

In 2025, the Festa dei Volpai brought the village of Pozzolatico to life over the weekend of May 24-25. The food stalls opened on Saturday at 7:00 PM and on Sunday for lunch (12:00 PM) and dinner (7:00 PM).

The menu featured Tuscan appetizers, pasta dishes with roe deer, wild boar, and venison (or tomato sauce), main courses of the same meats roasted or stewed, scottiglia, or alternatively grilled pork ribs and sausages, with side dishes of French fries or salad, and to finish, cantuccini with vinsanto. The days were enriched by dog training demonstrations, falconry displays, and live music.
