Edition 2025 — Festa dei Maruni
In 2025, the Festa dei Maruni celebrated its 43rd edition in the hamlet of Alvese in Nogarole Vicentino, from October 24 to 26. Alongside roasted chestnuts and chestnut cakes, the food stall offered fioretta and potato gnocchi with various sauces, grilled meat with polenta, simple dishes of the Venetian tradition, and tripe. The evenings were enlivened by music: Friday 24th with 'Crash – The Party', Saturday 25th with 'Divertida', and Sunday 26th with the ballroom dancing of Silvia Peruzzi, all under a large covered marquee. Organised by the Gruppo Alvese Onlus, the sagra confirmed its connection with the autumn tradition of the region.
