Edition 2025 — Festa degli Alberetti

The 2025 edition of the Festa degli Alberetti took place on Sunday, November 9, in Villavallelonga, dedicated to commemorating the fallen of all wars. At 11:00 AM, the procession departed from Piazza Olmi, led by religious, military, and institutional authorities. After the characteristic blessing of the trees, the community participated in Holy Mass in Piazza San Francesco and the wreath-laying ceremony at the War Memorial in Piazza IV Novembre.

Festa degli Alberetti 2025

On Sunday, November 9, 2025, Villavallelonga renewed its traditional Festa degli Alberetti, a moment of civic and religious reflection in honor of the fallen of all wars. The day began at 11:00 AM with the departure of the procession from Piazza Olmi, attended by religious, military, and institutional authorities alongside local citizens.

Following the blessing of the trees, a rite preceding the religious service, Holy Mass was celebrated in Piazza San Francesco. The ceremony concluded in Piazza IV Novembre with the laying of a laurel wreath at the War Memorial. The event, promoted by the municipal administration, reaffirmed the strong identity value of this commemoration for the Marsican community.
