Festa d'la Batdura

The 28th edition of the Festa d'la Batdura was held in Loiano from July 17 to 20, 2025, celebrating the grain harvest and peasant life in the Bologna Apennines.

The program alternated culture, music, and gastronomy for four days: Thursday featured pizza in the square and a screening of a documentary on peasant civilization; Friday included a themed market, food stands, live music with the Monkey Swingers, and a prize raffle; Saturday had a market, a parade of hamlets with animals, and music by the "orchestrina di Michele Ranieri"; Sunday featured demonstrations of ancient crafts, threshing and grain milling, parades, concerts, and dancing with the Castellina Pasi orchestra. The stands offered crescentine, traditional dishes, pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven, and street food along the village streets.
