Bussolengo, a populous municipality in the plain west of Verona, has always been linked to the cultivation of peaches. Every year, in July, the Festa d'Estate e Mostra delle Pesche celebrates this fruit with a rich calendar of events that enlivens the historic centre for several days.
Half a century of Peach Exhibition
The Mostra delle Pesche is the heart of the event: an exhibition that rewards the best qualities of local production and which in 2024 celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. It is a tribute to the agricultural vocation of the Verona area and the work of local producers.
Concerts, comedy, and themed dinners
A varied programme unfolds around the exhibition: concerts by the Bussolengo City Band, dialect comedy evenings, themed dinners with peach-based dishes, guided tours of the church of San Valentino, art exhibitions, and food stalls. A festival that combines taste, music, and culture in the heart of Bussolengo, organised by the Municipality with the Pro Loco.
Mostra delle Pesche — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Festa d'Estate e Mostra delle Pesche kicks off on Monday, July 27, in Bussolengo. The program begins at 9 PM with a concert by the Bussolengo City Band in Piazza XXVI Aprile. Among the most anticipated events are the "Scent of Peach" dinner in via De Gasperi, with a long table and specialties entirely based on local peaches, from appetizer to dessert; the International Guitar and Harp Festival at Villa Spinola, with concerts and workshops by internationally renowned artists; and the concert by the Mito's Pop Symphony Orchestra at the Fruit and Vegetable Market, with artistic direction by Lino Venturini. The historic Peach Exhibition then continues until August. Organized by the Municipality of Bussolengo and the Pro Loco.
