Ferragosto 2025 in Valle Piola
The 2025 edition of Ferragosto in Valle Piola, organized by the Pro Loco Torricella Sicura, confirmed the formula that has made this appointment a small mountain ritual over the years. On August 14th and 15th, the ghost village of the Monti della Laga, in the province of Teramo, came alive with visitors drawn by the charm of the place and the traditional cuisine.
The food stalls opened from 7:00 PM on August 14th, featuring the flavors of the Teramo hinterland prepared by the association's volunteers. Many chose to extend the celebration by camping in tents in the village area, between hikes toward Monte della Farina and walks in the woods of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park. An evening of conviviality that, as every year, gave a voice back to Valle Piola for one night.
