FerMENTI in Festa - Theatre Training Festival

The Theatre Training Festival directed by Manfredi Rutelli has its roots in the experiences carried out in Montalcino, where, under the name FermentinFesta and through the FerMENTInScena workshops, intensive theatre residencies were held in the prestigious Sant'Agostino Complex, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia.

These editions brought back to Montalcino a tradition of study and stage training, with residential paths aimed at student actors and professionals, as well as moments open to the public. It is from that season of work that the leap to Chianciano Terme was born: the first edition of FerMENTI in Festa, scheduled for the summer of 2026, gathers that legacy and relaunches it in a city aiming to become a new cultural hub in Tuscany.
