Fera ad Zugn

The 2025 edition of the Fera ad Zugn in Sant'Antonio in Mercadello, a hamlet of Novi di Modena, was held from June 13 to 15, 2025, coinciding with the patronal feast day of Saint Anthony of Padua.

The central moment was the solemn Eucharistic celebration on Friday, June 13th, presided over by the Archbishop of Modena-Nonantola and Bishop of Carpi, Monsignor Erio Castellucci, with the priests of the community and the animation of the choir "Simona Andreoli". Afterwards, the Bishop distributed Saint Anthony's Bread, according to the ancient tradition of charity. Civil and military authorities also attended the celebration, including the mayor of Novi di Modena, Enrico Diacci. Sunday concluded with the solemn Mass and the community lunch, a moment of fraternity for the entire hamlet in the Bassa modenese.
